During the workshop, teachers were familiarized with the Approaches to Learning (ATL) and Approaches to Teaching (ATT) frameworks integral to the IB program. They were provided with essential information on the MYP (Middle Years Programme) unit planner, enabling them to effectively structure their lesson plans in alignment with IB standards. Teachers also had the opportunity to engage with subject guides, gaining practical guidance on curriculum implementation.

A significant portion of the workshop was dedicated to exploring the global context, with discussions on how to integrate these overarching themes into the curriculum. Teachers were guided on how to effectively incorporate global context into their lesson planning, fostering an international perspective within their classrooms.

The workshop emphasized the importance of inquiry-based learning, equipping teachers with strategies to design engaging and interactive lessons that promote students' critical thinking and curiosity. Various tasks and activities were employed throughout the workshop to reinforce learning and enable teachers to apply the newly acquired knowledge effectively.

Overall, the workshop provided subject teachers with a deep understanding of the IB program and its core principles, empowering them to enhance their teaching practices to meet the diverse needs of IB students. By equipping teachers with valuable tools and strategies, the workshop aimed to enrich the educational experience for both educators and students within the IB framework.
