On 15 August 2025, our school organized the workshop “Developing the MYP – Introductory” for newly appointed teachers and for teachers who have recently joined the IB teaching staff. The purpose of this workshop was to introduce educators to the philosophy, structure and practices of the IB  MYP, and to support them in developing the essential knowledge and skills required for effective implementation in the classroom.

Earlier, we successfully held the workshop “Developing the MYP – Introductory” in February 2024, as well as the IB MYP Category 1 workshop in September 2024. Each of these training sessions has provided valuable opportunities for teachers to strengthen their professional expertise, deepen their understanding of IB principles, and enhance their pedagogical practices.

The August 2025 session built on these foundations by engaging participants in discussions, collaborative tasks, and reflective activities, ensuring that teachers feel confident in contributing to the school’s mission and in delivering high-quality learning experiences.

By organizing such workshops, the school demonstrates its commitment to supporting teachers, fostering a culture of professional growth, and ensuring alignment with the IB philosophy. These efforts not only help teachers develop the skills necessary for effective teaching but also strengthen the school’s overall capacity to provide students with meaningful and inquiry-driven learning.
